Hello!
I have a question about the empty hole next to the clip where i clips the screen when you close it. To my guess is a 5-1 reader because i also have a modem port . My question is , is it normal that there is an empty hole with no casing inside? I mean there isn't a casing like for sd card or something , just an empty hole . What can i use it for since there is no casing for sd card? This is a picture i found from google , it looks like this

If you are talking about the slot near the front right corner, I think you answered your own question. It is the slot for the 5-in-1 Media Card reader. Download the Hardware Maintenance Manual and check page 126.

Thanks for the reply but i still don't understand how to use it . THere is no casing like in modern laptops where you just put the sd card on it , press it through and get recognized . There is an empty deep slot with nothing in it . How to use it?

Exactly what system do you have? As far as I can tell, all X200, X201 and X220 models have the Multicard carder as standard equipment.

I have a lenovo x200 laptop , modem port is enabled so i must have a 5in1 card reader .
It seems i have mistaken micro sd card with sd card slot. I jah the idea in my mind that there should be a case where you put micro sd on it and put it in as a sd card (from my old laptop). Checking my x200 with my recent probook 4540s i realized they have the same hole (ss card reader/mspro) . Only difference is that 4540 has a plastic card inserted in ( my guess for aesthetic reasons so that it doesn't like a an empy hole like in x200) and x200 doesnt so i mistakenly thought that something was wrong with my x200
