Finally found an elusive datasheet for the X300/X301 LCD (TMD Toshiba LTD133EQ1B)

It's limited, but better than nothing.
There's a thread somewhere else, but can't find it at the moment...

Where did you find it? In the future you can try searching for datasheets on baidu.com. Chinese websites have them more available without trying to force you to pay.

Edit: That is NOT a datasheet. It doesn't even give any useful information. You can look on panelook.com for some info on different panels. It doesn't tell you everything, such as pinouts, but it is usually good enough.

I don't read Chinese, but in the Google searches there is English text amongst the Chinese characters.
Enough for me to find that sheet.
If it is indeed on Baidu, can you please post the link here?

I've been searching, but all I can find is that pdf you linked to or other ones like it. Sorry I couldn't be more help. This panel seems pretty rare and is possibly just X300/X301 specific? Anyway, between the info on panelook.com and the display pinout on the X300/X301 datasheets, I think that might be as far as we can expect to get. Although beyond that there isn't much useful information anyway.

Panelook.com seems to have the datasheet, but someone would have to make an account with them to download it: http://www.panelook.com/LTD133EQ1B_TOSH ... 11091.html You need to be a representative from a related company though.

I agree that on further inspection there is not much info in that download, EXCEPT a list of comparable screens.
I'll try to get some more info...

I've researched the possibility of putting a 13.3" Macbook Pro Retina display into an X301. I don't know how well the display would fit into the lid, but the X301 should theoretically be able to run the display after some wiring mods.

I have successfully swapped my X301 screen for a Hydis AFFS screen. (1280x800) However, it involves a lot of work. The X300 panel is unique and was a special request by Lenovo towards Toshiba. That is why no data sheet for that panel exists in public. If you need the pin layout however, I can provide it if necessary.
