Add Model and System-unit serial number to X201s motherboard

I've just successfully completed my first motherboard transplant, putting an X201s motherboard into an X200s case. The only problem remaining is getting a Machine Type Model and System-unit serial number, and I would be grateful for advice on how to do it.

The motherboard is an X201s model with a 2.13GHz i7 L640 CPU. It has a system board serial number of 12HSX261FSV.

Thanks to a generous person (you know who you are) I have a bootable USB key with version 1.86 of the Hardware Maintenance Disk. What I don't know is exactly what to do to enter the Machine Type Model (presumably something like 5413FGQ) and System Board Serial Number.

I'll be very grateful for any help with this. (Meanwhile, I'm breathing very deeply after getting the motherboard swapped with only one or two bad moments.)

Well, ignore that... I figured it out by looking at the HMM... Apologies for wasting bandwidth.

It's been some time since I used an HMD, but one important point was to be sure to hit the ESCAPE key upon booting the HMD. This will "unlock" the system so that the data can be entered. The other thing to know is that you need to start the serial number data entry with "1S". The Hardware Maintenance Manual has this information.

Thanks, Ray! That's basically what I figured out from reading the HMM and a bit of experimenting.
