X201 sound card: 60Y5407 or 60Y5408

I have a X200s in which I've swapped an X201s motherboard, so (as expected) the microphone no longer works, and I need to replace the X200/X200s sound card with an X201/X201s sound card (which uses a different Conexant part number). My question is this:

There seem to be two variants of the X201s sound card: 60Y5407 and 60Y5408. I *think* one of them doesn't have the modem, which I don't need anyway. Is this right? And if so, which one doesn't have the modem? And with the no-modem model, is there simply an open port in the side of the 201s where the modem would be? Or is there some way to cover that empty port?

Thanks for any advice on this. And apologies for throwing so many questions at the group.

According to the HMM:

60Y5407: I/O card assembly with modem connector, with 5-in-1 Media Card Reader slot, with audio ports
60Y5408: I/O card assembly without modem connector, with 3-in-1 Media Card Reader slot, with audio ports

Not sure about your second question about the chassis. From the HMM, it looks like there are many flavors of the base cover assembly (which is the chassis). It may be that some of them, namely those designed to go with the modem-less configuration, do not have a modem opening.

Thanks! From your second comment, I would guess that it makes the most sense to get the one with the modem connector since the original one had it. But that's only guess. Thanks for the info, and I should have looked directly at the HMM....
