Hello,

In testing a X201 I recently purchased the internal microphone does not work. The I/O card seems fine working with a headphone output and microphone input. The HMM shows the microphone on the LED card. Replace the LED card?

Any experience with this problem is appreciated.

A followup...

I replaced the LED board which has the microphone on it and that solved the problem. To insure that was the problem and not drivers I tested in Ubuntu and W7.

If anyone wants an LED board with a bad mike it's yours.
