Hello.
I bought one x200s in good condition and after I have changed the LCD with one BoeHydis HV121W4-120, (AFFS mod).
LCD is much better, but I noticed some noise from the LCD or inverter area, this noise is audible only in quite room and middle brightness, in the maximum brightness everithing is silent.
It can be a inverter problem or LCD problem? can I solve without changing the LCD?
Thanks.

I don't know the details about your AFFS screen swap but assuming that you are using the original inverter that came with your X200s, then it could be possible that the inverter is not compatible with that screen. If it is, then the problem could be the inverter itself, or it might be a weak/dying/badly connected CCFL in the panel which is causing the inverter to act up. If the noise is a high-pitched, scratchy sound that varies with the brightness of the screen, then the source of the noise is typically from the output transformer on the inverter board. You could try re-seating the connector that is attached to the backlight and see if that helps. If not, then try swapping the inverter out with another one since it's easier and cheaper to do that then change the display but be prepared to have the noise remain. If that happens, then you would have to decide to live with the noise or spend some $$$ to swap out the screen.

I have already checked the cable connections it seams good for me, I will try repleacing the inverter with a new one, I need to look to specific inverter serial or just the new original one could be good? Thanks.
