A few questions to update my knowledge

#1 Post by cogitordi » Sat May 30, 2015 5:33 pm

Ahoy everyone, it's time for me to... add more Thinkpads to my collection! (o:

What's the best-equipped X-series laptop among the X20* models?
By best, I mean CPU and screen. Something with cores and hyperthreading, and the best resolution possible.

Among *all* the X series, which models have a Full HD screen?
Thinkpads I have known: (380z, T40, X32), X61, X200, X200S, X201

X240 and X250 have it as an option.

X201s can have a 1440x900 display, but has low voltage cpus compared to the regular X201. To get the benefits of both, you could swap the entire lid assembly of an 1440x900 resolution X201s (or X200s) into an X201. You cannot only swap the screens.
Current Thinkpads: W530 (functional classic keyboard mod), X301, T61, T60, T43, T23, 600X, 770
Other: mk5 Toughbook cf-19, mk1 Toughbook cf-53
