[x200s/x201s] Screen Color Calibration
[x200s/x201s] Screen Color Calibration
I got x200s and x201s both with WXGA+ 1440 screen. x200s has warm green screen color while x201s is cold blue. The difference is quite significant and occurs is every OS/BIOS I use. Is there any way to do hardware color calibration? What could be the reason that two exactly same screens look different? Video card in x200s and x201s is different, could it be the reason?

I don't know the reason. Green is usually a problem with fluorescent backlights, not LED.
The color profile can be changed manually if you have the Intel video driver installed. Or, for even better results, buy a display calibrator:

I use these with X61 tablets, which already have a fine Hydis FFS display, and it makes them better. I use them with less accurate displays, such as W500 TFT, and it makes them better also.
I have never found a display that did not improve when used with a calibrator. The worse the display, the more the improvement.

Re: [x200s/x201s] Screen Color Calibration
I have a standalone computer with LCD monitor. I can choose various color choices or make my own with monitor OSD menu. For instance among color choices there are 'warm' and 'cold' ones. Warm is greenish and cold is blueish like in RGB panel. The difference between x200s and x201s screens somehow resembles this warm/cold thing.
Re: [x200s/x201s] Screen Color Calibration
Right, but if you have the Intel Integrated graphics package installed, you can adjust the balance.

So basically there is no way of hardware config for this? I do wonder what could be case that two same screens have different output.
