Hi all,
I now have a Thinkpad x300 64781TU.Under display adapters it shows "mobile intel 965 express chipset family(microsoft corporation-wddm 1.1)".No Ati CCC? I tried to download the ATI.it shows in programs & features its installed but doesnt show anywhere else?do i uninstall the mobile first?Looks like 10-2_legacy_vista32-64_dd_ccc is the current driver but its ATi.Anyone have same issues,thanks
I installed a fresh Windows 7 & now updating computer.

Is this for a T43 or an X300 thinkpad? The X300 is the graphics chip for the T43 machine. I think you are getting your Graphic chips and your Thinkpads mixed up. That ATI driver is only for the T43 machine. If you want the best driver for a X300 thinkpad go to the Intel site and install their driver check software.

@shawross:
did you not notice the MTM (64781TU) after the X300?
That's a dead giveaway OP is talking about an X300 Thinkpad.
The reason why people supply their MTM (and we really like that) is so we know exactly what machine is being discussed.
FYI: all T43 with ATI have an MTM beginning with 26xx
and all T43 with INTEL have an MTM beginning with 18xx

OK great thanks for that RBS but if I was so confused why did I suggest that he should go to the Intel site and use the Driver Update Facility. Which is excellent actually and one I have just used recently looking for WIFI updates and I was surprised to find an update for my X301.
The driver "10-2_legacy_vista32-64_dd_ccc" he referred to is the best driver for the T43 X300 Chipset. I stand by my viewpoint.
