x201 no backlight issue (burned fuse)

Hey everyone,
Got x201 thinkpad as a gift and its working fine on external monitor. No idea what happened to it but problem is, i can only barely see picture on the screen (no backlight, had this issue with other laptops aswell). Checked F1 fuse (lcd) on the motherboard with multimeter and its burned, will replace it soon with new one. My question is, should i replace lcd panel aswell before booting with new fuse? Im confused how lcd panel could be causing the short and blown fuse if its working well with rest of the screen JUST without backlight.
I never had lenovo laptop before and i tried to troubleshoot if short is elsewhere, when i boot webcam flashes once, normal boot sounds, Led panel in screen with lights is working well, no error codes from speakers, picture is perfect on the screen but NO backlight.

Get a few extra fuses. Solder one piggyback-style on top of the old one.
The fuse-blow problem could be a torn/broken LCD-cable, somewhere between lid and motherboard.

I disassembly screen unit and lcd cable looks ok. Only have one extra fuse from dead x201 mobo, found fuse values from another thread u commented (Fast-acting FUSE, 3A, 32V) where do you buy these fuses ?? Closest i found was this, but length is 3mm and 1.5mm is fuse i need:

I used hot air gun to remove working fuse from the broken x201 motherboard and soldered it piggyback style to new board as you suggested. Booted up and looks like its working fine now, perfect picture and backlight is working well. No idea what caused it to burn, since no components are shorted. Looked closely to bios chip and L08 (security chip?) near cpu, both have been removed and resoldered. Maybe someting was shorted during repair and it just caused fuse to burn.

Anyone attempting this with only tweezers, use plenty of flux so it sticks to it. Still its pretty hard to allign good. Also if you are applying more solder afterwards look for those tiny dots of solder near fuse, you dont want to make solder bridge and then something gets blown again =)

RealBlackStuff: Thanks alot for helping out, i didnt btw find this exact fuse from Elfa Distrelec.

Here is picture where the fuse is ( Blue one with P written ), there is solder bridge left side of the fuse and had to work on it after picture was taken.
