Source for X300 batteries?

I recently purchased an X300. Love this machine. Unfortunately, the batteries that came with it are shot: a 6-cell with 42% capacity, and an ultrabay one with 58% capacity. Between them I get 100%, a pretty lame 1.5 hours of battery time. Needless to say, it would be nice to have more.

I tried an $18 generic replacement 3-cell battery from an eBay vendor and had a lousy experience. The battery didn't actually charge, and I even had to pry it out because it wouldn't eject properly. I realize that I got what I paid for. (Thankfully, I was able to return it.)

I realize that genuine Lenovo batteries for this model are going to be impossible to come by at this point, but are there some non-brand ones that are good? I'd like to replace both batteries. If anyone can please direct me to some suppliers on eBay or otherwise, please do so. Thanks in advance.

Might be worth a shot.

Otherwise, try Aliexpress. They also have new original bay batteries for 30$.

Well aliexpress claims to have OEM bay batteries, but man talk about some shipping times. 2-4 weeks? Or 1 week via DHL for $70.

I think i'll risk e-bay for "genuine" batteris.
