I never posted here so hello to everyone!

It's a bit old thread but I have searched and didn't find another so decided to post here. Hope you can explain it to me.

I'm using X220 tablet with modded bios 1.42 without whitelist, unlocked DRAM frequency, advanced menu and disabled ME. Last thing I did myself playing around with coreboot. Couldn't get Clover bootloader to work with coreboot so I get back to modded 1.42.

So to the point. Every time I boot my thinkpad up the leds go on and instantly off, after brief pause ~5s on again and there the laptop starts to boot normally.

Sometimes pushing blue TV button after battery removal helps, it boots at first instance, but most of the time got this annoying lag.

Anyone know what possibly is happening and how to repair it? Flashing the original bios back removes problem but then the performance boost is lost. I do a lot of virtualisation so I need 16GB ram, also use macOS on this one...

Not sure why these things would be happening with the modified BIOS but resolve when the original BIOS is in place.

There is a modified version of the latest BIOS (v 1.43) that might work better for you here: http://x220.mcdonnelltech.com/resources/

Flashed the latest modded bios and it works great.

The Advanced settings let you basically control everything but care should be taken.

I lowered some Temperature settings and the rest I will leave well alone.

I never thought I would see these settings on a Thinkpad. Thanks to "johnmcdonnell " and all concerned.
