Best IPS screen with "classic" keyboard

Hi all,
I recently went back to a Thinkpad T60p and was reminded of how much I love the classic keyboard and screen. I'm now looking for an ultra-portable of this variation.
In particular, I'm thinking of the X220T as an alternative to my X230. Would you say the X220/t is the last of the "classic" Thinkpads with an IPS screen? Are there any earlier models with a superior screen and keyboard in the 12 inch scale?
Thanks.

Officially, yes. However, W/T510 - W/T530 models as well as the T420s/T430s (non-s models have issues when not on full brightness) can take a FHD IPS mod.

I recently got an X220T that had been used very heavily. After getting it some parts and getting an OS installed, I'm quite happy with the IPS screen which I like much better than the one in the X201T except for the 16:9 aspect ratio. It is crisp and bright while the X201 has a matte look. The keyboard is quite nice but the trackpad was different enough from the ones on all my other Thinkpads that it took some adjustment. I'm used to discrete buttons and figuring out where to press on the trackpad was very error prone at first.

Some models of the non-tablet X220 have IPS screens. There's even a Full HD mod.

They do, but am I right in thinking that the X220T has the better IPS (especially the "outdoor" model)?
Anyone also have a sense on how it compares to T60p Flexview?
Thanks.

Here is an old post comparing the flexview screens:
http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=34530
T60 15" Flexview 1400x1050
Black 0.29 cd/m2
White 162.01 cd/m2
Contrast ratio: 558:1
Avg dE: 4.13
I would assume the UXGA display would have the same or even better specs. Notebookcheck's X220T review has its display rated at a 883:1 contrast ratio and 70% sRGB colorspace. At the very least, the X220T screen will be brighter with better contrast, but we are still dealing with a low 1366x768 resolution.

I have the multitouch model. It has a brighter display than the T60P which I think is due to the LED backlight. I like both displays but I can't compare them one on one due to the differences in size and aspect ratio.
I also have two flexview XGA X60Ts and they are by far my favorite tablet displays and the X60T is the only one that I really use in tablet mode. I wasn't sure about the X220T due to the 16:9 aspect ratio but after I actually had one in my hands, I found I quite liked it. I, like many others here, prefer the 4:3 displays but I'm having an easier time adjusting to 16:9 than I thought at first. Of course, I still have multiple 4:3 Thinkpads that I use and abuse regularly which helps.
