Slim 65W Power Supply Options/FRUs/Part Numbers

#1 Post by Carthik » Wed Mar 30, 2016 9:19 pm

I recently moved my X220 into a smaller bag and could really use one of those "slim" power supplies. I notice there seem to be a few different designs.

Can someone break them down for me? The one with the 12V car adapter is appealing but the modular connector design seems like it might be annoying.

FRUs and part numbers greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Assuming you'd like to stick with factory equipment, this may answer some of your questions: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/pd014168

Note that all possible FRUs are probably not listed in those pages. There are a multitude of AC adapters from different manufacturers.
