X220 touchpad tweaking/replacement ?

Any one had success with the X220 touchpad tweaking or replacement ?

PS: i know there's a lot users prefering the trackpoint but please don't go out of the subject, i'm talking about the "Touchpad" here.

To be honest with you, this is probably the worst "touchpad" i've ever used ! It's not responsive at all... that's why i'm looking for some alternatives.

I can see that you've got an X220 in your signature, you didn't notice anything about the touchpad ?

Hey, my touchpad is completely unresponsive. It does not work at all! However, I am not the person to ask, since I don't use it, so I just disabled it in the BIOS.

But rest assured that there are touchpad users on the forums, and some of them will without a doubt see this thread and may offer some helpful advice.

When you say that it's not responsive - are you referring to pointer speed (which you can probably increase in the settings), or does it sometimes completely fail to register your motions?
