[Solved] Pressure Sensitivity Issues - Possible Counterfeit Pen?

Hey everyone, I have an X201 tablet that I've been fighting with to get pressure sensitivity on. I bought the machine without a pen and ordered one from a seemingly reputable seller on ebay, however I can't get any variable pressure with it. In Photoshop CS6 and Krita it's either on or off. I tried with an HP pen that I scavenged a while back and I get variable pressure in Krita, but not Ps. Did I end up getting a counterfeit pen, or is that normal?

Sounds like it probably is, but do you have a pic of the pen in question?

Pressure sensitivity didn't work for me out of the box in Photoshop. I had to reinstall this driver, after which things started working.

Worth a shot, just in case...

I took another look at the auction and found that it was indeed a non-genuine pen. I've ordered one that lists as genuine this time, hopefully it'll work properly. Krita always had pressure sensitivity with the genuine HP pen, but Photoshop did not. The problem with Ps is that I was running an older version straight from my CS6 installation DVD, an update fixed this. As for photos, I didn't take any, but if the pressure sensitivity issue hadn't shown up I'd have never guessed it wasn't a genuine Lenovo/Wacom pen. The only thing that caught my attention initially is that it didn't have the metal ring for removing nibs.

Thought I'd add this here for anyone else with this issue. A fellow thinkpadder on Freenode took these photos, comparing a genuine and knockoff pen. I can confirm 100% that I had a knockoff.
