X230 IPS ?

I'm looking at purchasing a used XPS-230 from someone and they don't have the serial # but do have the model # of 2325-DN3

Is that enough to confirm that it has an IPS panel or do I need the exact serial #?

Ask them to run this program HWINFO
or to go into BIOS, where you'll find the S/N on the first page.

Thanks...it's a seller on Amazon so a bit harder to communicate with...I've sent them a message hoping I can get the serial #.

Lenovo website does list IPS for the model I have but it says the parts listing is for a "generic" X230i Laptop (ThinkPad) - Type 2325
