x201s i7 640LM into an x200

hello,
So I was wondering if I can fit a 63Y2086 I7-640LM board into it; I especially like the i7 board because it's 25 watts, but if you guys think the i5 35w boards are better let me know.

Online I found some threads, although they are about retrofitting x201 i5 boards into x200, while this is a x201s i7, also threads are old and pictures are gone.
I read I will probably end up with a screw or two in excess after I'm done, and - this is the part the scares me - I will probably have to cut/bend some pin in the x200 chassis to accomodate the board :-|

What do you guys think, is it doable? Thank you :)

[edit: too much blabla]

I've looked at both motherboards and they look identical. If you're really scared you might want to check out the hmm for the x20* series machines and look at the screw differences. I usually Miss a screw or two when swapping parts for their intended machine :-)

thanks for taking the time to check, very helpful :D
this one is tricky because everybody wants to fit regular mobos into S chassis, not the opposite.

it seems like it's possible, I will try as soon as I have some time.

If it's anything like the x60/x61s, they are completely swappable from slim to "fat". BTW you CANT swap x61 to x61s.

You can swap some x61 into an x61s chasis -- depends which fan you use.

Am curious to hear if the x201s board fits into the x200.
