OS is win7, all drivers are up to date.
Any ideas for a fix?
- Did you verify that this behavior is specific only to cutting the power to the Ultrabase with the laptop docked? The laptop suspends correctly on low battery when it's undocked? What happens if you first cut the power to the base, and then undock?
- In Windows Power Options --> Advanced --> Battery, there are separate settings for battery levels and battery actions for "plugged in" and "on battery". It seems strange to have critical battery actions defined for "plugged in", because it never should happen, but perhaps it can cover just this exact case? Verify that you have the desired configuration there for both options.
- The Ultrabase allows you to plug the AC adapter both via the base, and via the laptop itself (it does not block the laptop's charging port). Which one have you been using? Perhaps you could try the other one, and see if the behavior is any different.
