X220 no backlight

Hey guys,
I sold this machine to a friend of my wife a few months ago. She went to use it and the screen was black. I replaced the screen assembly and all the cables and no luck. It's probably the backlight capacitor correct?

Does it work with an external display? If yes, it could be the backlight's fuse.

Yes, works great with an external display.

I replaced the motherboard and all is good now. Glad to have it back up and running.
