Small adhesive black rectangle that covers this on the LCD housing:

According to this, it looks like it may be part of the LCD rear cover assembly (#5)? So it may not have its own part number, nor sold separately.

No, you don't. Just find a piece of black plastic, a pair of scissors and some double-sided tape.
