X220 I7-2640M?

#1 Post by Thinkpad4by3 » Tue Feb 27, 2018 11:51 am

I don't see alot of these in the wild. How common are these, especially compared to the i7-2620M?

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

I recently bought one (just the mobo) and I can say they’re are AF (compared to i5).
Until I got it (thought I bought a 2620), I thought laptops were only 2620, because the 2640 are way more common in the tablets, but some lack USB3.0.

I have one, but they are indeed more rare than the 2620M it seems. In the US Tabook I counted 4 preconfigured models with 2640M vs 9 with 2620M. In the European one, 4 vs 12.

Ok. Thats exactly what I thought. Probably a good thing I took those two X220 2640M units when they were selling them off after their 3 year usage.
