My X220 i7 has died

#1 Post by Thinkpad4by3 » Wed Apr 18, 2018 1:40 pm

My daily driver X220 i7-2640M has died  .

Troubleshooting so far:
30 second power button w/ no power.
Removed slice and regular battery, slice appears to be dead.
Used dock to press button, nothing.

Machine has NO signs of life, no Thinklight flash, no green light, nothing. Dead.

Anything I can do before I call it goodbye?
Probably should be Thinkpad16by10.

Looking For: 386 laptop, IBM or not.

Have you tried a different ac adapter on this to rule this out?
