Powerbank for X300?
Hi, I'm in a pickle as I'mlooking for a suitable powerbank for my X300. Problem is Wattage Voltage and capacity.
Some powerbanks offer AC outlet and some only DC ouput. But these have to fit my power Adapater as far as I know, and that one is
Input: 100-240V 1.5A 50/60Hz
Output: 20V 3.25A 65W
Question is: Can the X300 only use 20V 3.25A(or higher A) 65W powerbanks or can it also use 19V-19.5V as long as the Ampere is either 3.25 or higher ampere?
We are not talking that it can run, but that it will actually charge the battery without breaking something.
I have looked at alot of powerbanks over the last couple of days, but in order to stay within airline regulations, it get expensive with the branded ones.
Hope one of regular experts here can answer this:)

Re: Powerbank for X300?
Please check solution mentioned below. It does provide up to 60W at its output so probably this should be enough for X300.

Re: Powerbank for X300?
I would NOT play with adapters that have a higher Ampere ratings, regardless of voltage. But that's me.
The part which I don't quite understand is the one about the airline regulations. I've travelled to and from Europe with both 72W and 90W adapters, never an issue...

Re: Powerbank for X300?
Thanks for the answers but you misunderstood, I'm talking about Power banks - not chargers, The X300 has a small 4000mAh front battery, so it cannot take bigger battery, thats where the powerbank for laptop comes in.
I had one for my toshiba, but very long time ago and it were heavy and only 19V - X300 uses 20V and 65W charger. Question were if a powerbank with lower than 65W could be used, and if 65W but lower than 20V could be used as long as the ampere is in the correct range.
Regards Jan

That one unfortunately, don't have the required ampere. i seen it before, it do stay within airline regulation which states max 100Wh.Pokrzept wrote: ↑Sat Jun 30, 2018 6:12 amPlease check solution mentioned below. It does provide up to 60W at its output so probably this should be enough for X300.

According to the review - https://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Le ... 852.0.html - X300 consumes up to 42 W under load, In this case 60W of output power should be enough to charge it on- and offline.

You can't count on that in real life - i do go to this perticulair site for most of my information and reviews, but in real life it's something whole lot different.
And what I were asking for, were someone - in real life - who tried it! And not guessing
