After my X201's keyboard broke (the 9OL. column doesn't work unless the flat cable is held bent in a specific way near the connector) I had to go back to the T61 (it's now almost 2 months, with no real regret if it wasn't for the 8+ dead pixels and plastic cracks it has...) so today I went on eBay looking for keyboards...
What I ultimately bought was this one: https://www.ebay.it/itm/253659592322, in great part because it's the cheapest complete one (30 € versus at the very least 45, ie one third of what I paid for the whole PC with battery, charger, and generic box), but also because it has the American symbols layout but also the "vertical" enter key and the backslash between Z and shift.
But what kind of keyboard is that in the first place?
The HMM calls the 42T3744 a Finnish keyboard, which obviously this one is not...
(Bonus question: are Lenovo/Chicony known for repainting keyboards? The one I currently have, of British layout, has Danish letters printed in black if you look closely at it!)
