Rebuilding an X220T, which battery and display upgrade?

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows or has experience with some of these 6-9 cell batteries I'm seeing.

Is there like a certain company I should be looking for, for rebuilt batteries? Seeing a lot of the same models on ebay as well, and how do I know which ones will fit the X220T?

and as for the display upgrade I'm seeing there's an IPS display option for the X220T on the wiki, is that going to be easy to source? do I need the exact model of the X220T to swap in the new display?

Laptop is currently on the way, paid $93 just hoping that the BIOS is unlocked.

Both batteries are Chinese knock-offs and both have different shapes.
No idea how good/bad they are.
I suggest you download the X220T manual from the above HMM-link.
That includes a parts-list with all the P/N or FRU numbers.
Also look at the shape of your own X220t battery, before you replace it.

67/67+ is correct for X220T, 52/52+ is unknown.

All tablets already have an IPS display.

It appears that the Yafda X230T battery is the same from a quick look, has 67+ on it as well, not that it really means anything.

I'll probably just try that out for $50, I assume it's easier than trying to rebuild an OEM battery since they probably don't hold charges too well by now.

Laptop I bought doesn't come with a battery or charger, but I've already got a 90W universal one somewhere around here...

I bought quite a bit stating the batteries were authentic blah blah blah to find out eventually they are no where close to specs, over stated capacities, cheap cells, poor quality, you know the drills.
you pay more for something of quality is the motto or try your luck. Use battery monitor to see what is happening and if everything is good after one month then I say you are good to go.

amazon third party resellers? even if it is fulfilled by amazon they get their good stock mixed in with third party stock so it is like playing Russian roulette nowadays buying from amazon but they do got that A-Z guarantee which I feel is better than Fleabay.

The Yafda battery seems to be working great, am getting like 6 hours screen on time with a light workload out of it.

Battery saver, 25% brightness, 40% limit on max CPU w/e in power settings. Airplane mode as well sometimes.

Why the hell does intel lock me out of undervolting the CPU? Anyway I can do that? Really only need this thing running at like 2ghz max.

For some reason, Intel disabled undervolting capability in mobile Core i CPUs from 1st (Westmere/Arrandale) to 3rd generation (Ivy Bridge).
