Would a X220 palmrest fit a X230 Chiclet?

I really love the Chiclet keyboards, so I'm thinking of swapping out the Keyboard alongside everything else on the machine. Laptop of Theseus, I guess.

Why does it matter? You can just put the X220 keyboard right on an X230 motherboard with a quick mod and a piece of tape on a pin or two. Look around for the Classic Keyboard mod and you'll seee how to perform it. Not just do you not ahve to mod your touchpad which may or may not fit but you get your 7 row keyboard.
Thinkpad4by3's Law of the Universe.

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

I intentionally want the Chiclet keyboard on it- I would have sold the X220i and gotten a X230 but it has sentimental value to me.

X230 chicklet keyboard might work some on an X220, but there is no EC-mod for doing that.
A lot of keys will work either wrong or not at all.
This mod only exists for the other way around: X220 7-row keyboard on an X230.

I'm doing a X230 mainboard swap along with everything else, so it should work? It's currently an awful i3.

Yeah that'll take care of that issue. Enjoy.
