Shorted out x220 mainboard. Repairable?

I shorted out the mainboard because I didn't insulate my ssd case when I made it thinner.
Can I repair it by replacing an SMD fuse on the mainboard or do I have to replace the whole mainboard?

Depending on how it/what shorted out, it's possible. You'd need to test each fuse individually and replace any that are blown. If none of the fuses are blown then it's not likely to be repairable.
I had to replace the LCD/backlight fuses a couple times on my W520 during the process of fitting the IPS panel. Doable, but it certainly requires a steady hand, fine soldering tip and some patience.

Does a fuse location diagram exist?
My wi-fi, sleep and battery leds don’t work on my X220 and so suspect blown fuses.
