X201 tablet thinklight mod

I fully admit this is a goofy question but bare with me in the name of science and curiosity...
Is there a way to mod an X201 tablet with a thinklight? I understand that they don't include one normally, but since the key is still there on the keyboard I am curious if there are connection points in the display or on the motherboard somewhere that I could add my own light with.
No, this is not practical - but neither was replacing the stock LEDs with different colors... Or continuing to upgrade and use a 10 year old laptop...
I tried to find info on Lenovo's site about what parts would have had the thinklight connected in similar models but didn't get anywhere. If someone has an idea I am willing to do some experiments and post results.
