[solved] x200 and x301 drivers?

Hi everyone I'm looking for the drivers for the x200 and x301 models. I was able to download T410s drivers from the eol Lenovo website:
https://download.lenovo.com/eol/index.html however all the links for what concerns x301 and x200 models are not working.
Since these devices are a little bit on the newer side of the Thinkpad line they were not included in 2014 in the famous mega download:
https://thinkpads.com/support/Thinkpad- ... index.html.
Is there any x200/x301 (or similar models that might use similar drivers) user willing to share their drivers with me? Is there any other website where i can find drivers?
I've found some other lists like this one
http://ps-2.kev009.com/pccbbs/mobiles/ but they are overwhelming and i don't seems to be able to find my models anyway.
Thank you in advance for your time and for your help.

Taking a look at the wayback machine seems that the x200 and x301 where inserted on the eol part of the lenovo website in 2016, however it seems that only txt readme files were ever uploaded and never the actual files. So those files were never there to begin with.
EDIT: i tired accessing the archived version of the lenovo website but it seems that all query boxes are broken and it is not possible to download files anyway.

Thanks you for your reply. I did try to search the forum (and around the internet for what matters) but admittedly a post with that title wasn't caught by any keywords i typed. While i did not have an account I've been using the forum for years giving the amount of thinkpad related stuff i used in the past, I've never created an account because the problems i had where already well described and solved here so i never felt the need to ask more clarification... I'm sorry that the thinkpad community sees it as a negative behaviour. Unfortunately i don't have drivers and software to share because i always treated it as disposable space and i never though lenovo was going to remove those drivers from the official site.
Anyway thanks for your reply, i guess I will have to wait.

Hi, I have been a user of the ThinkPad X200 for some time and still have the X200 as my main laptop. The links on the Lenovo EOL website do work you have to right-click on the driver you want to download and select Save link as. Tried today and the links work.
https://download.lenovo.com/eol/index.html
I use Windows 10 and everything works, even the mouse. I use Driver Booster to get most of the drivers, but with some drivers, you will have to download and install manually.
Graphics driver can be found here:
https://www.tenforums.com/graphic-cards ... mayor.html
Mouse driver: Instructions on how to install can be found here:
viewtopic.php?t=122419 driver download link:
https://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/downloads/ds103517 You do need to change some settings once the driver is installed, but I'll wait and see how you get on with the links, and if you need any help.
I have just reinstalled Windows 10 after trying Windows 11, so see which drivers you are missing after installing the above and I'll post some links.
I do some videos about my ThinkPad X200 on my YouTube channel, but you will see a lot of gaming playthroughs, look for the ThinkPad X200 playlist. I have done a video about my experiences with Windows 11 and will be on my channel when I get around to editing and posting the video.

Hi, I have been a user of the ThinkPad X200 for some time and still have the X200 as my main laptop.
Thank you very much. It never occurred to me to try that way. I would not have ever imagined to try and save the files that way. I'm glad someone is still using the x200as main pc. I missed that battery life in each and every one of my subsequent laptops (i had the 9 cell.... unfortunately now it is batteryless).
Thank you very much for the info. I will save all of the drivers and documentation in a safer place for future use. I was tempted to try windows11 on that thing... but never had time to fully try.
I see that in your games collection there are a lot of good classics.
You might be interested in trying out a less known third person shooter: "Giants: Cityzen Kabuto". It is available on steam and GOG. I can PM you when there is a discount if you want to try it out. To use it on modern version of windows a community patch is needed.

This discussion is closed but i would like to still write for everyone to know that the drivers (including the custom one and the one for the "wrong" trackpoint) work with both windows 10 and 11. I had the dreaded power management issue that reduces the clock speed and thought to install the chipset driver to solve it. It turns out that it does nothing but it may mess up with the custom graphics driver so i would say install it before the custom driver (not sure but it seems like it tries to replace it). There is a power manager driver but it does not fix the low clock. The workaround for me was to simply disable the intel power manager.
So if this happens to you as well this is what you can try to do (besides checking that you are in performance mode and that your cpu is not capped by your power plan):
Go to the registry editor and go to the following folder
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\intelppm
edit the "Start" key and set it to 4.
This works for me because i have a P8600 and therefore i don't have turbo boost so my base frequency is also my max frequency
https://www.intel.it/content/www/it/it/ ... tions.html. It may not be the best idea to disable power management on newer CPUs as it may indeed make them slower instead of faster.
