Seeking Advice on ThinkPad X220t Battery and TrackPoint Compatibility

Hello, I recently got my X220t working, and all I need is a battery and a TrackPoint. I was told that the TrackPoint is a low-profile 6mm type. I also heard that the newer BIOS version of the X230t has an EC that prevents the use of third-party batteries. Does the X220t have this restriction as well? I was looking to get a $50 battery from Amazon and the TrackPoint's as well, but I can't find the names for the TrackPoint and such.
