X300 in stock (Thread to list possible places to purchase)

I plan on picking up an X300 when they become available. Since they are supposed to be announced tomorrow we should see them showing up at various sites shortly.
I know that the X300 was up on the Best Buy for business web site as well as CDW. Tiger Direct has a teaser site. I haven't found any reputable web retailer that allows the X300 to be purchased or pre-ordered.
Any prospective buyers out there? Once you place an order where did you order and what is the ship date? Maybe we can help each other out.

Good idea duffy.
But would it be better to order straight from
www.thinkpad.com (shop.lenovo.com) so we can customize?
What are the preconfigured models that will be sold through retailers? I like some of the reviewed configurations that have been around the $3K mark...

Lenovo will allow the most configurations as well as accepting corporate or employee discounts that some lucky people get. Sometimes configurable models take longer to receive than stock configs that can be ordered from a third party.

As of immediately, it's
pictured, then if you view the x-series and go to other models there are some listed. The Topsellers will probably appear on March 1st.

I can't wait 3 weeks for Lenovo to deliver. Will any Los Angeles area stores have the X300 in stock next week?

If I cannot get one next week in LA, will stores in France or the Netherlands have the X300 in stock in April?

I have a delivery date of march 15 in germany, the same should be the case in the rest of europe, meaning that at least the two topsellers should be readilly available.

Thanks Andy! Can you tell me where to order online for Europe? It isn't obvious on the Lenovo website unless I'm just missing it.
any updates?

I ordered one in the US, but it arrived with a defective screen – there is a line of blue pixels running vertically up the left side of the display. I'm leaving for Asia and in a few weeks back to Europe. I called around in Asia and Australia and they can't get me one yet.
Does the Euro version come with HSDPA? Can someone point me to a place to order one?

At the moment the delivery dates being shown for Europe are 31st March. I would suggest looking on the Lenovo sites for the relevant countries you'll be visiting to look for on-line retailers or shops you can visit / call.
Some models will have Vodafone broadband.

The X300 pricing in the UK looks quite reasonable. Considering that a T61p here at retail is around £2000 and the X300 is priced similarly.
Now, you can pick up a brand new T61p on eBay for £1000+ so I'm assuming that in half a year from release it might be a similiar situation.
