1804 error with Dell Sprint WWAN card

#1 Post by thedank » Mon Mar 24, 2008 1:33 pm

Hey guys, I think i am in the right place for this but may be a bit premature as iI am assuming none of you have any experience with this thinkpad since its so new. I just got it today, popped in my dell mini pci sprint card and got an 1804 error. Can I get around this? Any suggestions?

I have an x300.

mod edit: split from the T6x 1804 error thread and moved to X300 conference.

well you gotta mention which system you are talking about. If you are talking about a T61 vs a T60 or a T4x then it might be a different fix.
Current - Thinkpad T410si - Core i3 330m, 4GB, 250GB 5400RPM, WXGA+, FPR, BT, Camera, DVDRW, Gobi2000, Win7 Pro x32
Past - Thinkpad T410 - T400 - T61 - T60 - T43 - T42 - T41 - T40 - T23 - 600X

I ended up just buying the Verizon card on ebay for about $150 ... I'm not under contract with sprint anyways.
