The best i can tell, the x300 has no software to use with the gps? Am I mistaken? If there is no software preinstalled what does everyone suggest? I have a copy of MS Streets 2008 that i can use just wondering what everyones preference is.

Thanks
Weez

No GPS navigation software is included, however you can use google maps since you will have a persistant data connection through the sprint/verizon card

You can use Openstreetmaps/Kosmos (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Kosmos) which also works offline. This is Open Source Software. No routing yet, only shows your position on a map.

Thanks All, I think i will try MS Streets and see how it goes. Now for a question. I thought i was having hardware troubles with my GPS but after reading the link that Eric posted now im not so sure. When i start my GPS it says unable to open port when mobile connect is open I think thats normal because the wwan is using the same port (Com 6) does that sound right? The reason why I am confused is it sounds like if you connect with the GPS first you can still open mobile connect and connect to verizon according to that link. Should the GPS work if Mobile Connect is open? and if not, how can you connect to the wwireless if the gps is active?
