Leftover X300 questions

I've had some questions since getting an X300, but haven't had a chance to ask. I didn't want to start many different threads, so here goes:
- IIRC one of the CD/DVD burning apps had shown the X300's drive as not supporting buffer underrun protection, can anyone confirm?
- I'd thought the new 7mm DVD burner is only single layer, but last month's PCMag review says it's dual layer? Sorry I don't have a DL blank disc to test it.
- What's the best way to clean scuffs and smudges on the rubber paint (palm rest and chassis cover)? Damp cloth doesn't seem to work very well.
- When will Lenovo's WUSB port replicator be available? Any good 3rd-party WUSB replicator as an alternative?
- With a USB or WUSB replicator running an external monitor at the highest supported resolution, can we expect the USB bandwidth to be saturated to the point where other high-speed devices such as USB drives will slow to a crawl?
- What kind of WiMAX miniPCI upgrade will be available for current X300 models (since the WiMAX antenna is already in the display bezel as had been shown by ryengineer)?
