Just to tease you...
So it seems we are near the public inofficial release of Lenovo's new Thinkpad lines when more and more information are coming online through dark channels. So end of July is the grand opening of Lenovo's new full notebook portfolio. Bigger, better, faster and lighter!

The 3000 series is dead (R.I.P.) and will be replaced by the SL series and some idea:pads. Sounds good?

Finally Thinkpads with nVidia's silent mode (integrated graphics) and power boost to real graphics at home?

Thinkpad X200s at 980 grams, that's close to the EeePC, right? Sounds good (and expensive)?

Will the W700 be available with Quad-Cores?

Are these news real or just speculation?

This looks a smaller brother of the X300, even the lcd release mechanism seems to be similar. The keyboard looks to be almost full size, and the thicker LCD bezels continue. I am not very excited about the widescreen though

X200 looks very unbalanced in these pictures...not as pretty as X300

Full-size keyboard is a good idea but...I don't know. Hasn't moved me whatsoever. Maybe I'll like it better when I see it...

Nooo! I really hate those stupid big bezels. And lots of small widescreen laptops have them, MacBook (Air), Asus Eee, MSI Wind, ThinkPad X200/X300. The X200/X300 are especially ugly because the top part is much thicker than the sides. Why can't they have the wonderfully thin ones from the X40/X60? Because of those webcams? But then again, the Sony TZ manages to sqeeze a webcam in a very thin bezel.

no the pictures do not accurately show what the bezels look like. if you look at the pictures of x300 from the same website, the bezels look thick as well. It should be similar to x6x but wider. I wouldn't worry about it being ugly.

Does anyone actually like the asymetric left/right LCD bezel on their laptops? Not merely tolerate, but like?

I wouldn't mind if the screen isn't off center, but it has to be off center to the left and not to the right. Notice how the trackpoint (or touchpad) is off to the left? Because the keyboard is offset to the left, so the screen should be the same way too.

Some HP notebooks have the touchpad exactly centered, and whenever I type on them my right palm keeps brushing the touchpad.

The X200 is definitely appealing...does anyone have an idea about possible release dates, or are we only getting the specs?

I'm very interested in the new features of the X200T tablet
