x200 still XGA?!

#1 Post by TotallyT » Mon Jul 07, 2008 3:51 am

I was trying to find out the X200 weight and also the dimensions, which didn't seem to be on any news stories.

I found the following on a German site:

ThinkPad X200 Typ: 2023, 2024, 7454 7455, 7457, 7458, 7459
Display 12" LED Backlight XGA
CPU / Chipsatz Merom Dual Core hybrid LV
Santa Rosa Crestline SFF GMS 800 MHz
Kommunikation GB Ehternet, Bluetooth, WLAN 802.11n, UWB, WWAN WiMax
Festplatte Solide State 64 GB (1,8" x 8 mm)
Schnittstellen 2 x Mini PCIe, 3 x USB, PC Express Card, Audio, VGA
Akku 3 Zellen Li Polymer Akku

Arbeitsspeicher bis zu 4 GB PC2-5300 / 667 MHz
Maße 318 x 231 x 18,6 - 23,4 mm
Gewicht 1.13 kg bis 1.44 kg

I've no idea if these specs are final, but the screen wouldn't be XGA anyway would it, being widescreen?

Edit: I see those dimensions are the same as the X300, so assume this is just a made up spec sheet by the one website.

The specifications are incorrect. The X200 will not have a solid state hard drive, nor a 4:3 screen. Don't believe everything you read on the Internet.
X220/IPS, T60p/IPS
Nothing endures but change
