X300 and generic IBM power adapter

Hi,

Just a quick question - can I use a power adapter (i.e 92P1022) that comes from older thinkpads (like T43) with X300? I don't seem to find answer to my question anywhere and I vaguely remember reading somewhere that after IBM -> Lenovo transition they started to include power adapters that were not compatible with older models...

Can anybody comment on this?
