Any 1.8" SATA HD's currently available for the X300?

X200, X201, X220 (including equivalent tablet models) and X300, X301 series specific matters only.

Any 1.8" SATA HD's currently available for the X300?

Not sure if this has already been asked but figure I post and see as Im contemplating ridding the SSD in my X300. Thanks in advance.

Well, IMHO, I think the X300 overall performance is predicated on the SSD's speed. FYI--Samsung has a 128gig SSD now in production (Dell has just started using them). Note that due to the "new" technology, you'll get higher RAM density but lower access speed. The ones in our X300s are probably the best of the 64gig SSD class...

Dell offers some 1.8" 5400RPM drives used in their D430 if you need more space. They're not cheap either, but you could probably flip your SSD on eBay or elsewhere and make a few bucks. I don't know if it'll work in the X300. Otherwise you're looking at a 4200RPM drive, which doesn't sound too appealing to me.
