New Telstra firmware on Lenovo's 8775 WWAN card?

Anyone tried flashing their Lenovo 8775 WWAN card with Sierra's Telstra firmware from:

dare not try it , afraid not compatiable with my MC8775 , if fail to upgrade the card , may be miss function..

I tried that version a few weeks back, but the upgrader didn't recognise the WWAN card in my X300!

There is newer firmware out there. Have a look at:

I have the new firmware installed. Thanks for the help. The firmware is actually dated 12/12/07. BTW, what version of 3G watcher and driver files are you folks using? the generic one from Sierra or a newer version?

The following version of 3G Watcher has the drivers for the MC8775.
(Note: several other "carrier/card" combinations on the Sierra Wireless site also land here):

The Telstra AirCard 875 version of 3G Watcher also works with the MC8775:
