No Extended Warranty for the X200?

#1 Post by kryzak » Tue Aug 05, 2008 3:48 pm

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to buy a new X200 that was just posted today on the lenovo.com website, but when I finished customizing my laptop, I realized they did not give me any options to upgrade the 1 year depot warranty into a 2 or 3 years depot/on-site warranty. Is this yet another glitch in their system? Did anyone else have this problem?

I'm not sure if I should buy it before I can pick a 2-3 year warranty. Thanks for any comments or advice you guys can give!

I gave them a call and they were not sure why there's no warranty info either. But you can order the warranty by phone for now and they'll add it to your computer order separately.

More than likely just first day glitches in the ordering setup. tabook says that service upgrades are available for the X200.
