X200 built in camera

#1 Post by tyang54 » Mon Aug 11, 2008 12:01 am

I've been reading the reviews on the X200 and they all mention an included 1.3mp built in camera. when reading the spec sheet at lenvono it says that the camera is an option, yet the US website doesn't give you the option to include the camera as an add-on. For those of you who have ordered from the US website online, can you confirm if the bezel camera is a standard feature after all?

According to tabook, it is not standard on all models.

problems

There are still problems with lenovo's site and the x200. For example, you still have no option to extend the warranty, although other documentation says you can.

x200 webcam

I just received my x200 today. After ordering I noticed that some early reviews mentioned a web cam so I emailed my sales rep and he said that my order did include an integrated camera. So while you can't choose the webcam option on the web site, it definitely is an option so contact sales to make sure you get your webcam.

When I ordered it, it was standard. The problem I have now is that I can't make it work. :)

It's there, but I haven't been able to use it for anything. I could install Skype, as suggested, but I've been lazy.
