X200/X30x integrated Verizon or AT&T question

#1 Post by dynamicnet » Sat Aug 23, 2008 10:53 am

Greetings:

For those of you who have the integrated AT&T or Verizon WWAN, questions:

1. Are you glad you got the integrated option?

2. Does this open take up a card / USB slot?

3. Did you go with Verizon or AT&T? May I ask why you picked the one you did? If you could do it over again, would you have picked the same one?

4. How is the support from the company you picked?

5. Do any of you have a dedicated IP address from the WWAN Party?

If yes, how easy was it to get? Did they also set up a reverse DNS for you?

Thank you very much for your time.

Greetings:

I think there's a another offering besides AT&T and Verizon (sprint?).

Does anyone have any experiences to share about integrated WWAN on their ThinkPad X200/X300?

Thank you.
