Is X200 Screen better than X61T yet?

#1 Post by bin.dong » Thu Aug 28, 2008 11:01 am

I don't have chance to use X200 yet. I don't expect X200's screen is better than X61T but I hope it's better than X61/X61s. (i.e. multi view angle?) IPS is dream now!

X200 owners have some comments?

Thanks

The X200 screen is supposed to be 200 nits which is a little brighter than than the 150 nits of its predecessor. As for screen quality, the resolution is greater than its predecessor as well, however compared to the Sony Vaio's and Apple Macbooks, the screen is not as bright. However that does not mean it is a bad screen by any stretch of the imagination, just that it is not as good on a side by side comparison. The main reason to buy an X200 is for the build quality of the device and excellent keyboard along with awesome battery longevity and fastest processor power in its class.. Simply put, you can find $500 notebooks at Best Buy with higher quality screens unfortunately, but you get what you pay for and everything else is cheap and slow.. The X200 with a solid state drive will last you a long time in comparison..
