I am very grateful that x200 provides digital video output (through ultrabase tho), which beats my other options right away. What i need now is just a displayport-to-dvi adapter. Lenovo's 45J7915 is not expensive, but I see startech's dv2dpi has the same picture elsewhere. I wonder if they are the same thing, so that I could save ten bucks and maybe get it sooner. Thank you!

My understanding is that this is simply a cable - no electronics inside. Since it is a short cable - it is likely that any one will do just fine.
