ThinkPad X200 and FireWire 400 or FireWire 800

#1 Post by dynamicnet » Sat Sep 13, 2008 5:56 pm

Greetings:

If I wanted to use a FireWire-based hardware device with the ThinkPad X200, what would I need to purchase in addition to the device?

FireWire 800 would be great, but FireWire 400 would work as well.

I could be wrong, but I didn't notice FireWire as part of the specifications, so I'm wondering if this could be added some how.

Thoughts?

Thank you.

you'd need an expresscard to firewire adapter.

Greetings Eric:

Thank you for your reply.

Hopefully not a dumb question, but where can I get one?

Thank you again.
