Boy are the X200s expensive and their seems to be only one option for the screen. I'm curios to see more hands-on reviews and hopefully the price will take a dive!
$1500+ laptops are kind a hard to justify, when el-cheapo laptop costs half. I could literally upgrade every year instead of buying a Thinkpad.

I saw it in the Canadian site. The computer was listed at $200.00 CDN.
Obviously, a mistake and you couldn't complete the order, but I thought it was kind of funny.
Not that anyone cares, but I have an X200 on route to my home today. I can't wait to get my hands on it. I'm replacing an X60s. I don't care too much for screen size, but the X61 still has the palm rest heating problem and I don't want to toast my right hand anymore. The reviews mentioned how cool it runs, so it was an easy decision there. I'm sure I'll get used to the screen size.

Most people will do just fine with the X200 which when on sale (as it is now) and especially when there is an additional coupon (as there was for two days last week) is more affordable. I spec'ed out a high end X200 which came to $1300 + taxes.

Hopefully it is not the same "quality" as X30x which turned out to be priceless.

Looks like neither the x200 nor x200s has express card. Does the x300 or X60/61 have it?

X200, X200s does have Express Card which replaced the PCMCIA of the X61.
