Hi.

I am ordering X301 in the US. However I will use it in Europe with an Orange or Vodaphone GSM SIM. What type of WWAN card should I order?
In the X301'a system service parts there are 5 different WWAN cards types...

I guess the best bet will be either Qualcomm UNDP1 (FRU 42T0961) or Ericsson F3507g Other (FRU 43Y6479).

Any ideas will be much appreciated!

If you are ordering in the US you should specify the AT&T WWAN option since it is the GSM/HSDPA option, as used in Europe. The WWAN card will be locked to AT&T and you will need to unlock it (e.g. using [url=http://www.dc-unlocker.com/DC-Unlocker[/url]) to use another SIM.

EOMtp, I had no idea that Lenovo was crippling some of the Sierra MC8775 frequencies! That sucks! Both the Sierra MC8775 and the Ericsson F3507g are designed to support HSDPA 2100/1900/850MHz. Why on earth does Lenovo cripple them? AT&T doesn't want any of their users traveling the globe and running up roaming charges? This sounds bizarre...
