x200 WWAN Keeps Quitting

I have the AT&T WWAN and am finding Access Connections VERY slow, PLUS after it connects for awhile it mysteriously drops the connection. Trying to get it to bring up the profile to reconnect seems to take forever and usually ends up requiring a reboot. This isn't how it should work -- any suggestions?

Thanks!

Try using the AT&T applet instead of Access Connections. I have the same problem with Access connections on my T61p but have no disconnect problems with the AT&T Communication Manager applet.

Access Connections has never been my favorite piece of software to come on Thinkpads.

On my earlier TPs I had the same experience and ended up blowing away Access Connections. But I'm not sure how to do that on my x200 -- the ATT applet tells me there's no WWAN device so obviously AC has it tied it up, but I've not been able to figure out how to "disconnect" AC so the ATT applet will recognize the modem.

Thanks!
