X200 Video Problem

#1 Post by Hudson » Fri Oct 17, 2008 5:29 pm

I just purchased and received a new X200. Today I was playing (on Itunes) the trailer for Indiana Jones and I noticed a lines across my screen and the video wouldn't hardly play mostly just sound worked. I quit and retryed it and it did the same thing, so I have something wrong with the graphics or something?

It seems like it could be just quicktime.

Thanks,

I'm glad you like your x200 :P (from another thread)

Did you install the correct codec for the video?

I downloaded what it told me to, I might uninstall and try again.

I use k-lite codec pack. Basicly it plays everything known to mankind. :P

Google it and check it out.

This is what someone else posted on another forum and it worked for me.

"Go to Intel Graphic Properties, and turn off/disable the power saving features."

Problem fixed
